It's redundant to have "sometimes" as an option when the question is "do you ever buy used literature".

Lol, yeah. I guess I'm getting more stupid just by taking this course.

wow i guess i was one of the stupid people who chose sometimes when yes meant the same thing. why didn't anyone else interpret that as "yes, always" given the pole.

I answered no because I'm in CEGEP (between high school and university in Quebec) and books usually cost ~$150/semester. If books cost mroe in university I'll check out used ones. Most sessions I only have one book tops worth more than $50 (most are under 20$), and I'm too lazy to hunt it down used.

OOOOPs now that I think of it this session I bought my first used book from a friend for a macroecon options class. Never opened it though so might as well not have bought it..

EDIT: if you actually mean literature as in novels/poetry, I don't see why I'd buy those used... they're almost always under $20 apiece. For textbooks worth hundreds I'd consider.

Meh...I buy used if I get the books from school, buying used online can be too much of a hassle when time is of the essence. Amazon.com is cheap anyways and the books are at my door ASAP!

Now I only buy from Barnes and Noble because I get American Airlines miles kickback. It seems that airline miles dictate all my shopping and dining habits these days but it is totally worth it. Rakeback kicks ass!

Our school bookstore buys back textbooks at the end of the semester, so I just bought all of mine used from there.
