Default Time to gamble?

Full Tilt Poker
$22 + $2 Sit & Go (Turbo)
Blinds 100/200

SB: 3,755
BB: 2,770
UTG: 1,110
CO: 4,285
Hero: 1,580

Hero is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG raises to 1,110, and is all in, CO folds, Hero ?

UTG didn’t play a hand until he was down to 10 BB. A few uncalled pushes kept him around 8-10 BB until he called my 5 BB push with QTo and I doubled up through him. All-in bets have rarely been called.

Best case scenario is that you're 60% vs two broadway cards or whatever. Worst case scenario, he has 44+ or A5+, or one of the three players behind you picks up a big hand. I prefer to fold here. I'd rather just shove almost ATC on the next hand.

Vedo can you elaborate more? I'm more of a MTT player if you can't tell, trying to learn more about STTs.

You rather shove with 24 just because your shoving then if you have a good read on someone, calling with A4?

Am I misreading this hand? Why does everyone want to get all in so badly? We are on the button with like 1600 at 100/200 we have plenty of time to get a hand, this call is horrible and we don't need to shove ATC next hand either.

Even if villain is shoving ATC, this is a -EV call.

Yeah, that was my thinking at the table. Later I played around with pokerstove and thought I might have been getting the odds against his range and then some. But having SB and BB still to act, where they would be getting 2:1 to call, clinches it for me.

Thanks for the feedback.
