Default push the 77s?

Final table of Ladbrokes ladders, top 3 paid $500, $300, $200, 6 players remain, blinds t200, t400

SB t2400 (hero)
BB t3300
UTG t600
MP t4500
Button t4200

Blinds are posted, folds to button who raises to 1200, I push my remaining 2200 with 77s.

I lost to AK, but is this a reasonable time to make a move, or should I have waited for a better opportunity?

NB, blinds were not due to increase anytime soon.

His range for raising from the button is pretty big, so I am definitely pushing here with 7 7.

You don't really have any fold equity because its only another 1k for him to call, so as long as you are aware he will be calling you, then this is a perfectly fine push.
