Thanks for the completely unbiased, verifiable source. You can tell it was written by a neutral observer because of the sign-off

"Final Score
Patriots 24
Colts 7
Referees 13"

[/ QUOTE ]

The refs did suck, but that didn't give Indy any more than 3 points (the phantom call on Hobbs led to a FG).

But that wasn't the point of the link. The link was a very good indication that it was NOT prerecorded crowd noise, rather just amplification of existing noise. Whic, by the way, may not actually be against the rules.

Doesn't matter anyway. The Pats won, the Colts lost.

I'm a pats fan but come on guys.. this is ridiculous

"CBS has informed us that the unusual audio moment heard by fans during the Patriots-Colts telecast was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck and was isolated to the CBS broadcast. It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium."

edit to add link to source

it's ridiculous. how long have they been doing this?

Every team that plays there has suffered b/c of this.
Fake crowd noise, biased officials, changed rules, and these guys still can't win at home. unbelievable.

[/ QUOTE ]

Another brainwashed sportsguy diehard. The rules didn't change.

[/ QUOTE ]

Uh, Polian was absolutely the driving force behind changing the rules of enforcement on downfield contact after the Colts couldn't beat the Pats a few years ago.

Telling the refs to enforce the rules isn't a rule change.

I hope CBS did this on purpose just to fuel the fire between the Colts and Pats.

CBS definitely has the AFC championship game, but this was not intentional.

If you pay attention during live sporting events you'll realize that audio/technical problems happen all the time. Its pretty damn hard to run a 3 hour live broadcast without a few brief problems.
