This guy cured my tilt
Bay 101 20-40, I'm on mini-tilt from being up 1 rack instead of 3 and trying to convince myself to leave even though the game was real good.
This guy sitting (temporarily) in front of about a rack worth of chips says after cold-calling 3 bets pf with KJo and not winning the pot, "I only called because I have a lot of chips, that's why I hate having so many chips". I had a nice little internal lol (oxymoron?) and was knocked right out of tilt. Coincidentally, I cashed out up 2 racks soon after he busted out for the 3rd time. |

Re: This guy cured my tilt
This would cure my tilt %100 as well, provided he was being completely serious.

Re: This guy cured my tilt
He wasn't trying to make a joke, but I'm sure he didn't think through exactly what he was saying. |

This for some reason seemed very zen. Is this some sort of koan?

Re: This guy cured my tilt
I always buy in big ...... I like having a lot of chips in front of me at the casino. And bankroll preservation is the best cure I personally have for those times tilt enters the equation.

"I only called because I have a lot of chips, that's why I hate having so many chips". [/ QUOTE ] Remind's me of a joke by a BJ dealer named Larry at GC Hinckley (MN) "I hate winning slot jackpots...it takes so long to put the money back in..." |
