Default NL $200 - Ugly spot on turn with KK

Villain is like 25/5/2, pretty average player (ie not very good but not an idiot). Just want a line check here, probably pretty standard.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Ultimate Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($233.65)
MP ($357.10)
CO ($194)
Button ($174.20)
Hero ($306.70)
BB ($197)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls $2, Button calls $2, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls $10, Button folds.

Flop: ($28) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $25</font>, CO calls $25.

Turn: ($78) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Hero ?

Hero bets enough to price himself in if he gets pushed on.

Then he calls and hopes the board pairs.

EDIT: And if we do get moved in, we have 2 or 3 more queen outs to split (probably) to go with our 10 boat outs.

How much of his range do you expect him to bet if you check to him on the turn?

I think that's what it all boils down to imo

Yeah, which is why bet/call is far superior here

I don't expect him to bet without a Q, really. I bet $55 and called a shove, and thought it was standard, but looking back, is this really the best line? Check-calling and shoving if the board pairs has to be better, since a guy like this is never folding a straight, right?

Bet-Call.

He could have 99/TT/JJ/JT/T9/KJ all of which call but won't bet if you check.
