I dont see why it's so bad, it really shouldnt have that big of an effect on the 20s. I would think people who want to play the 4s are by and large not the same people that want to play the 20s. I think the 4s are great, it should provide an opportunity for the Micro MTTers to buld a bankroll a bit more steadily, and it will provide a nice place for the bigger players to just blow off some steam.

The saving grace of the situation is that the good players moving up to the 50's and bad players moving down to the 20's probably even it out.

You really think that people dont care how much money the tourney costs? Most people are going to pick the tourney based on what they can afford, and if they feel they can afford the 20s, I can't see them moving down. I suppose you could lose a few total degenerates who have no bankroll consideration thoughts.

I talk to people all the time who randomly enter 55$ tournaments because they are there and running, despite the fact that they have a 150$ bankroll. If you present novice poker players with cheap play options, they will take them. Which in turn hurts the 180/20's. Although I don't think the impact is life threatening.
