Default Star 27, I think this AJ call is pretty -EV (right HH this time)

over 200 hands on Villain, he's about 10/8. I think he's able to lay down his hands but apparently he couldn't resist the beauty of AJo. I think the call on his part is -EV?? What do you guys think?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (3 handed) by Hand Converter CG

AJ is a pretty big hand 3-handed. I think it's well within his calling range. Depends on your table image as well.

I'm by no means the tightest guy on the table. my stat is 8/6 over 20000 hands.

Nah this is probably a call ITM (close) against unknowns, BB is not that short. It's an obvious call if he has seen you make resteals like this before.
I have wasted a lot of $ making plays like these without pretty good reads. You're not getting anyone to fold AJ very often, but it's the calls I see people make with like KT that made me stop.

Would you lay it down in his shoes? If you've been aggro on the bubble, you just won't look nitty enough to him for him even to consider laying it down.

You're acting like 15 BBs is a lot or something.

Yeah just because hes tight raiser does't mean hell throw all the hands away. I'd prefer to take advantage of that headsup. I also don't really get it how you are 8/6 if you raise such situations, but maybe it was your first try.
If a guy raises 8% there is a 1/4 chance he has JJ+(2%) which he is not folding, and he raised <1/4 of hes stack so it can't really be a +ev push.
