Default Is there a difference between 10NL and 25NL?

I started off beating 25nl for about 3.5BB but then went through a bad spell (bad beats, tilt, more bad beats etc). Thankfully I got through this but now, after 14,000 hands I find that I only really break even and my BB/100 is now only 0.52.

Whenever I get to a certain number of buyins I drop down to 10NL and I'm beating it for 5BB/100.

As far as I can see the play looks pretty similar and I certainly play the same way on each lever (according to my PT stats), so is there a difference in the games that I'm missing?

I just made the jump, and my sample size is way too small to mean much, but 3 bets happen much more often at NL25 and I really have to work on how to react to those. That's pretty much the only thing I've noticed during my couple sessions. Players might also be a tad better, but not by much, and you'll still find many of the 30/5/1 type, and worst. I do believe that it's quite easy to do better than 5BB/100 (I hope they're PTBB at least) in NL10. By just playing an ABC Tag game (maybe a little too tight though, at 13/10/3) , I've been able to do quite well at both limits.

Can't say so far as 6-max, but the guys over at the FR forum say there is very little differance at any stakes below 100NL

I've only played 2NL, 5NL & 10NL, but so far I have to agree - Very little differance.

Actually, that's a fair point. Maybe I should post this in the FR forum.

phydaux i agree that there is basically no difference in 2, 5, 10NL, but I think there is a lot less fish at 25NL. At 10NL 8 out of 9 players at the table don't know anything about c-bets, position, ect. At 25NL although still incredibly fishy, your c-bets don't get called down by bottom pair, most people don't pay you off with top pair weak kicker, and overall even though the play is bad, it's quite a bit tougher than 10NL

Be a while before I find out. Got to grow my roll for a few more months before I take a shot.
