Default 2.25 to 6.50s completely confused.

so i have a 60% roi on 2.50 stakes so i decided to take a shot at the 6.502. for some reason it seems like a completley different game. most of the people in the later rounds of the 2s are real nitty and easy to push around. i mean i figured it to be more aggresive on the 6.50s. i figured it would have to dowith raising not loose calls. i mean i routinely get people calling half their stack with 89 weak aces and even stuff like Q10. i feel like i get my money in with the best like 70% of the time yet i am losing at the sixes. bad beats and such. but my question is does this seem like variance or is there a mjor flaw. i was considering the posibility that i become to tight in the sixes because i care about the money. however im still getting it all in with the best hand most of the time. any ideas would be appreciated

The quality of play will obviously rise as you go up in stakes but I would asume that variance is the main factor here. How many games are talking about ?

not enough...but it was shocking to me seeing people calling down with 89 and stuff along those lines. i was just wondering if i found a few super donks or if that is something normal on the 6s because i really didnt encounter that on the 2s

you didn't encounter donk-like calls in the 2s???? hmmm I see that all the time, its natural with the low limits as people don't care about throwing away $2 and go crazy, only want action, and generally dont know how to play.

i see donk like calls all the time in the 2s but its usually ealier when you get down to the last four or five there tighter then anything they all want there money back

There is also a difference between Non turbos and turbos.

Villians are more likely to gamble it up more in later stages of a turbo. Low limit regulars are full of people who hate turbos because they cannot [ QUOTE ]
play proper poker

[/ QUOTE ] thus they are that bit tighter.

The structure of turbos forces villians to unknownigly play correctly at the later stages. This is why turbos generally have more variance, a lower ROI but as u get more games in a higher hourly rate.
