slowed down once i saw the smooth call from UTG, bet flop once he checks behind

more imptly, what is pillars range in this spot? he says it's bigger than i think, but i'm not quite so sure...

I don't know the guy, but does he slowplay much?

If not, his range is pretty well just 66 and 89s, maybe a 56s thrown in there. As well as his bluffs/semi-bluffs of course.

Keep in mind, though that him having a flush draw also entails not betting either a nut flush or a combo draw, with the only rare exceptions of like KsQs/QsJs.

Pair and a straight draw makes sense as well.

When it comes down to it, I dump this. I think the fact that you and villain look weak on the flop makes slowplays and semi-bluffs more likely, and I think he's slowplayed you.

I hate Doug Kim. I was playing 5/10NL yesterday and he made a comment in the chat about how "he could find an easier table to take a shot". A shot! A [censored] shot! The dude wins 2.4M and is scared to take a shot at 5/10NL.

I proceeded to tilt off several buy-ins thinking about what a life nit &amp; unbelievably mediocre poker player he is.
