Default 9-man vs 18-man SnGs

Assuming the same blind structure and rake, with payouts at 50/30/20 for the 9-man game and 40/30/20/10 for the 18-man game, which is more profitable for a good player?

I assume that the 18-man game wouldn't take that much longer, but that the necessary skew on talent would be that one would have to be much more adept at high-blind play (as there are usually 7-ish players left by high-blinds play) to money whereas in 9-man tables the play is pretty shorthanded (at the micros I play) by the time high-blind play ensues, not more than 5 players typically and pretty commonly just 4 players left. Given such, I think that one must have a somewhat more complete game at the 18-man, but does the 18-man compensate for such a skill advantage in your opinions?

For that matter, how would your assessment be skewed based upon 9-man turbos vs 18-man turbos?
