Re: defending vs squeeze: options, options..
I like calling and shoving a lot of flops. 4betting is pretty meh, you're going to get looked up pretty lightly.

Re: defending vs squeeze: options, options..
jfish - isn't determining how your 4bet looks the key to this hand?
ae - obviously he's most likely folding his junk squeezes, but i was saying there's a certain (and common) type of player who immediately will think you have a marginal hand (whether incorrectly or correctly) and shove a wider range (say he 3betted with A8s or 88-99 or AJo who knows) fwiw, i think the best option is to call, but shoving is a more than viable option if his ranges are right (i don't expect him to fold AQ+/JJ+ ever) |

Re: defending vs squeeze: options, options..
call and play back on flop seems like the best the options in your poll. unsure if its better than folding though. AT sucks, even though its sooted.
4-betting in this spot works if villain is of the sort to pull back a bit when he encounters something strange, and will probably read it for strength. If he's stubbornly overaggro and will just shove anything, then dont do that. Obv if you 4-bet either way, you need to fold to a shove. |
