Re: $16: Jacks on a king-high flop
Seems like a pretty standard fold to a 4xbb + limpers raise from a regular. Against an unknown I think this gets really difficult to play as shown by the example.
calling is about equal to folding against an unknown I think, but it certainly does complicate things. |

Re: $16: Jacks on a king-high flop
I'd check behind on the flop to control the pot size, with the intention of seeing a cheap showdown. I think you can get some value out of worse hands if the turn/river blank.
I could see hands like AQ, flush draws, etc calling your t200 flop bet. If one opponent calls, the pot size is now t730 and 34% of the cards in the remaining deck are scare cards. Not to mention the times when another player has Kx, or even a higher pocket pair. |

Re: $16: Jacks on a king-high flop
Preflop calling is fine.
Postflop i probably bet here too, i mean you are bluffing basically since v unlikely a worse hand calls, but preflop raiser is checkfolding here like 99%, so you'll pickup the pot most of the time, and its unlikely checking behind is going to bring some amazing situation which is much more profitable than betting the flop - your hand is almost never going to improve and you still won't know where you stand. I play the same as OP, nh |
