Default 2/4 hi -- monster draw, and a river bluff

Anyone play this differently? Should I have bet 6th? How's the bluff?

i would've put in a continuation bet on sixth, representing... a set? sure, a set... but since you didn't, i DO like the river bluff... the pot isn't too big, so they can fold an unimroved pair, maybe a small two pair... you've said: "i bet my draw and missed it. now i made it."

it's a simple "i need this bluff to work one out of eitht-or-so times to show a profit" situation, and i think it will, depending on the players, of course.

Depends on the villains BT, but generally I think that's an okay spot to bluff. The check 6th, bet 7th bluff seems to work majority of the time, and after your 6th st check I don't think anyone's going to try and CR 7th, so I think you're good here with a bluff.

Why are we raising 5th? Okay, you have a ton of equity and you get two more bets all the same; not saying it's bad.
I'd probably only call though - one or even both of the guys already in could have a better draw whereas the other two sure don't look like they have much of anything (okay, so they might fold, but mostly they still call, right?).
I check 6th too but I'm not planning on bluffing this river.

Just call 5th street with your double draw - the raise has no chance to eliminate anyone and is simply charging yourself. You're better off trying to hit something since you will have position to raise 6th or the river if you connect.

Thanks for the comments, Roland and Jeffage.

You don't think I have an equity edge with the double draw? I guess I just assumed I would... I checked twodimes, and I have a big edge over pair hands. If they both have bigger flush draws or straight draws, then my equity is still almost always over 33%... is this not good enough reason to raise it on 5th in a multi-way pot behind a bet-call?

Jeffage: any thoughts on the bluff?

I do like the raise on fifth, but not because the hero might have enough equity to make it worthwhile... do either of you guys think that the raise on fifth may work to tie people onto the pot if the hero hits on sixth? it disguises the hero's hand, too, making further calls more likely... do these two reasons add enough value to the play to turn a call into a raise?

You have a point, but I don't usually bother too much with deception at 2/4. You don't really need to tie ppl on either, they call no matter what.
Also, the raise might knock someone out who would've caught a second pair on 6th and continued...
