You'd fit in with the whiny Sabres fans. Just shut up already.

I am soooooo not whiiiinnnyyyyy at alllll...

psst...no goal

Wasn't aimed towards you, just Sabres fans in general. So much uproar over that very small tussle at the end of the game last night. It's like the majority of Sabres fans have been watching hockey for about one year.

Anyone who watches hockey consistently especially the playoffs would have understood that the Isles were going to have to assert a show of force at some point in the game, to try and gain some kind of momentum going into future games...

...unfortunately its all they got...not even poor jellyhead coming back can help them in the long run...

Anyone else happen to see the TSN article where they reseeded the teams by taking away the extra point for shootout wins? Tampa Bay and NYI out with Carolina and Toronto in. Also, Ottawa would have been the #1 seed.

Front page headline of today's Ottawa Citizen (the city's largest daily newspaper) is a plea from one of the sports columnists NOT to boo Crosby!

One of the most retarded things I've ever seen.

Hartnell's hit wasn't dirty. I haven't seen very many people who aren't Sharks homers say that it was. He was trying to make a check that Cheechoo tried to dodge, and they banged knees when Hartnell tried to hit him as he tried to avoid contact.

Cheechoo got the mouth damage by hitting his face on the ice after the hit, not from an elbow.

Preds just killed off a 5 minute major, including two minutes of 5 on 3, and scored short handed.

Edit: Nashville scores on a 5 on 3 to make it 4-1.

I highly doubt it.

I didn't see the DAL win but checked the stats and never saw this before. Turco had 35 saves for the SO win yet he was only 3rd star and H Sedin was 2nd star in a 2-0 loss. Why and how? If he played so good, wouldn't Turco even have to be better by default to shut him down?

I don't think the star system is really meant to be taken that seriously. At least, I never care who are the three stars.

Hank played an alright game -- no Canuck was outstanding, and while Turco did stop all 35 shots, there weren't that many that were difficult. Comparing scoring chances to shots might give an indication of how hard he had to work for 35 saves.
