KK cracked at 100/200 stars. No problem just surprised!!!

I play a lot of poker and am not a huge huge winner (as in the 100's of thousands that some online players claim to make) but I do well out of it. I mainly play around the 30/60 50/100 level but sometimes play much bigger- normally when losing to be honest!!!
In this instance i've had a bad 24hr session, I don't tilt as in starting spewing but maybe in this case i'm playing slightly more passively than is optimal due to very shaken confidence.
Maybe some will criticize this post for being a fairly uninteresting hand, maybe i played it badly, maybe i would have lost more if i'd played it better but either way i was surprised to see the cards this guy flipped over. Pre-flop and on the flop what could he have been hoping for in a multiway pot. Flopping a Ace loses him a big pot most times as does turning 2-pair......

Preflop is just an optimistic and bad call.

Postflop he played it perfect.

I disagree, the flop call is just as bad as the preflop call. When he calls on the flop the hand is still 4 way and goes on to become 5 way. What is he hoping to walk into. The risk reward is so out of line, in my view he's calling only to hit another 3. The ace most times is a big loser for him. I could have qq jj or aa aq aj so easily and what about all the other callers k10 lurking? Ace of diamonds could be a bad card also.

He is getting 13-1 to call flop, 14-1 including the guy behind him. He only needs like ~3.5 outs to make the call. Another 3 is very likely to be good - 2 outs. He also has the ace of diamonds. Good call.

i didn't see he had the ace of diamonds. but don't you agree with my point that he's calling with marginal odds assuming his outs are good, fair enough, but forgetting how much he loses if he is involved against one of the hands previously listed. which in this case is so so likely.

Pot odds, bro. He's getting the odds to peel, no matter how "slim" his chances may be.

It's a bad beat, yes. Chalk it up to variance and move on. Today I got KK cracked by both T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] when BOTH idiots called 3 bets preflop, and BOTH idiots outflopped me, in the same hand! You figure that one out...It happens.
