When I was like 15-16 I worked in a haunted house as a werewolf where some illusion would happen with glass/lighting and a bit of smoke that would make a normal person appear to morph into a werewolf, then the lights would cut out and I'd jump out into a little fenced off area roaring.

It was a good effect and scared the crap out of people. One night someone reacted the same way and punched me in the face. Luckily the mask was a professional one and made well because the snout took most of the impact and it didn't really hurt.

The guy that punched me then proceeded to fight with 2 security guards, run to his car and try to run over a cop. I guess I got it easy.
