It protects your hand from the UTG player and it gets more money in the pot when you likely have the best hand.

After using up all my clock, I called.

River was a blank [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB checks, Hero checks????

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd check and fold if it goes bet/raise to me. If it's one bet, then call.

If I am ahead, it rarely protects me from anything.
He will so often be folding or share outs with the other villians it isn't worth very much.

On the times you are ahead, against two villians, your equity edge is so slim, I think a c/r only increases variance.

Button probably has an overpair so he will counterfeit ur twopair or hit trips around 20% of the time. Sb looking at his AF probably have a set or twopair which by his vpip isnt 72, 82 or 23. He migh also bet two high suited card for the flush draw. I would probably fold this hand since u will get beaten by the Button 20% of the time and Sbs af indicates two pair or a set most of the time.

I think it was a big mistake not to c/r the flop. Now on the turn, I suspect you may be behind 33 or a slowplayed set, but it's hard to tell if it's that or only another two pair since you only called the flop.

I don't know what's best on the flop, but FWIW, this kind of action is hardly ever going to take place on the turn at the same time we make two pair.
