Which is why you should have bet it out; there's a non-zero chance he'll fold a non-nut flush, given the way you've played the hand. He'll definitely not raise with anything but the nut flush, as it's pretty easy to put you on A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Kx, or some such, given the way you played the hand.
