Default The cruel hills and valleys of a game we like to call poker

I've been dancing on cotton candy lately, enjoying my come uppance and what not, crushing the cruisers and such. I was sure I was the best the old men had ever seen, sitting on their barrels in front of the barbershop, daftly playing their checkers, and enjoying their refreshing bottles of ice cold Peach Kapow. "I'll show you old man!", I screamed from across the street, shaking my fist in defiance, mocking the gesture they so often loaded and fired in my direction as I toodled on down the boulevard on my tricycle, face painted with a wry smile and a pocket full of frog feces.

Yeah, that's what I said. Then the dark clouds of reality rolled in, melting the cotton candy beneath my feet as I watched my kingdom built on rabbit's foots and broken dreams melt away.

Oh you laugh at my plunging karma now old man. You take a perverse pleasure in oggling at my torn flesh beneath ripped corderoy britches, but you can bank on this: I'm coming back old man, and I'm bringing my legions of cotton candy with me!

Default Some real hills

Come on dude. I know even these swings aren't very big, but atleast these are some real mole hills.

This is March, and interestingly I'm up $ , but down BBs

Don't try to trivialize my downswing. I think I twisted my ego's ankle on that.

You lost 2 BBs in 80 hands, and your up $200+.

But it does show you have some major leaks in your game. Maybe you should take a week long break and re-read SSHE. Oh, and consider moving down, until you get your bearings back. I often have trouble concentrating after such massive losses, and moving down helps your ego, when you pulverize the competition.

Well, I'll pitch in, since this guy seems like he really needs it.

Here's some cheese for your whopper:
