Anyone familiar with the tax situation for poker income in Canada?
I have been a full-time/part time student for the duration of all my earnings.
Have to go in to get my taxes done as Im 2+years overdue and would like to have some backround knowledge before I go in.

[/ QUOTE ]If you're a fulltime student (4 classes a semester I think) then that is your occupation. As such, gambling wins are windfalls and aren't taxable. BUT if you aren't fulltime and poker makes the majority of your income then you have to pay. I'm not 100% sure so don't blame me if you get audited, but that's how it was explained to me.
