Default stars $5 45person SNG bottom 2 pair situation

Stars $5, 45 person SNG. Not a lot of read on villain, except I doubled up through him after it was folded to him in our blinds, he min-raised, i push AK, he called and lost with KQo. I don't like to butt heads with a player with a similar stack as me, which makes this a sticky situation. Thoughts?

I think a limp by him with 77, 88, or 1010 would be a terrible play by him in this situation, so i wouldn't put him on any of those hands. I suppose he could have 108 or 9J, but it is more likely that he limped a big hand like QQ - AA. I think you have to push here. I don't see him limping 69 or 710 here. I think you have to push and hope you aren't beat, although there is some possibility that you are beat.

He could be doing this with a flushdraw/straight draw.

The checkraise concerns me. Pot is 5400. You have to call 1200 more. That is 4.5:1 odds. Call.

I don't know if this is accurate, but let's pretend that it is:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 54.490% 53.45% 01.04% 2670154 52121.00 { 8s7c }
Hand 1: 45.510% 44.47% 01.04% 2221553 52121.00 { TT+, 88-77, AhKh, AhQh, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, Ah7h, Ah6h, Ah5h, Ah4h, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhQh, KhJh, KhTh, Kh9h, Kh8h, Kh7h, Kh6h, Kh5h, Kh4h, Kh3h, Kh2h, QhJh, QhTh, Qh9h, Qh8h, Qh7h, Qh6h, Qh5h, Qh4h, Qh3h, Qh2h, JhTh, Jh9h, Jh8h, Jh7h, Jh6h, Jh5h, Jh4h, Jh3h, Jh2h, Th9h, Th8h, Th7h, Th6h, Th5h, Th4h, Th3h, Th2h, 9h8h, 9h7h, 9h6h, 9h5h, 9h4h, 9h3h, 9h2h, 8h7h, 8h6h, 8h5h, 8h4h, 8h3h, 8h2h, 7h6h, 7h5h, 7h4h, 7h3h, 7h2h, 6h5h, 6h4h, 6h3h, 6h2h, 5h4h, 5h3h, 5h2h, 4h3h, 4h2h, 3h2h, ATo-A7o, J9o, T9o, T7o }

Even when I tighten it up alot:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 54.040% 52.91% 01.13% 1094612 23388.00 { 8s7c }
Hand 1: 45.960% 44.83% 01.13% 927459 23388.00 { TT+, 88-77, AhKh, AhQh, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, Ah7h, Ah6h, Ah5h, Ah4h, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhQh, KhJh, KhTh, Kh9h, QhJh, QhTh, Qh9h, JhTh, Jh9h, Th9h, Th8h, 9h8h, 8h7h, 7h6h, 6h5h, ATo-A7o, J9o, T9o, T7o }

I say call and see what he does on the turn. You have position on him.

I think you should just call. He could have something like 69 or J9 and hit the straight. However, if this guy is willing to go broke with KQo then I could definetly see something like J10, or top pair with a flush draw. If you are ahead right now you are only a slight favorite, therefore, I reccomend a call, especially since this guy is probably coming over the top of any raise you make on flop. I would definetly bet pot on a non flush or straight card turn, if a flush or straight card came on turn, I would fold.

This looks like a push to me. It seems as if his min raise is standard so it doesn't mean he has a monster. Its a $5 trny, they love to do this with a hand like top pair, and they are not folding to a push. Too many turn cards suck, I'd get it in now.

A 3bet is +EV.

I don't think letting a card come off and seeing how villain reacts to it with our position is a horrible play. I'm never folding this hand heads up in a blind war on the flop.

i would 3-bet here also
doubt he has a set here seeing he would just mini raise to get a push from you again or raise it good but not limp imo

limping with 9Js could very well be the situation

but what can villian call with after the 3bet ?
is he loose enough to call with TJ-TK ?

normally only thing you prob get called with is a set (we ruled that one out) straight draw flush draw the nuts straight or mayb TA

but as villian called with KQo i would put him more on the straight draw flush draw here mayb 9T suited here
