People love calling turn checkraises if there's any sort of draw on the board, mainly because most people with a big hand are too scared to check the turn and possibly give a free card. Sometimes, they have a draw and you will win and sometimes they have any piece of the board and they get stubborn (often rightly so).

I'd rather just bet out the turn and then even bet out the river.

i agree with the above.

i don't like the bluff. if the guy was stubborn enough to think you were full of [censored] on the turn and so he called with k,x, nothing has really changed on the river. he may puss out just being scared but prob not. and if he has KT 66 that obv calls.

i think there's merit in inducing a bluff on the river.

Agree with Adam and Gamblor. Your bluff is cheaper if you lead the turn and river. Checkraising the turn also forces you to push any river if you want the pot, which really sucks when you miss. To that end, when he calls a turn c/r, he's probably calling the river barring a passively played QJd.

I also don't know see how checking will induce a bluff. The river didn't change anything, so he knows you either had a big draw that missed or a medium hand looking to showdown, so his FE is as close zero as can be expected. He'll check behind with a made hand, and knows he can't bet a missed draw because that's pointless.

I don't like your line b/c the villian is even more short stacked than you. Unless he's on a draw he's pretty close to being pot committed on the river. Unless he's an idiot I expect him to call on most made hands.

A set is unlikely to chk that turn especially when villian has shown 0 strength.
