Don't really see how you can fold this. His line does not indicate a hand like a set that filled up on the river. You bet 2 streets strong and he called you down. He either has some weak pair/top pair or a missed flush draw hoping to get you off of your hand. There's also a slight chance that you're chopping.

If he called all of your strong bets until the river and made a backdoor flush, pay him off getting 3:1 on your money.

This spot sucks.

I think I would rather have put him all-in myself vbetting this river so I'm not too upset to call and lose to a boat here. He's not getting value which ever way we look at it.

Because you're most likely not c/fing here anyway given stack sizes it's important that you put him AI on the river. He'll have to call with his 2p/Tp/OP/trips/low straight/who knows what. By the way, I'd bet a little more on the flop as it's drawy, you don't bet this little with AA do you? Make it 2/3's of the pot at least. This way there's very little money left on the river so it becomes an easy shove (or it might go AI on the turn already).

P.S. He could be pushing missed clubs too.

BTW, if you think he's putting you on a hand he'll very likely do this w tp or an overpair imo.

I think you should have just shoved river for the 1/2psb. He might bluff off his chips on some boards if he had the club flush draw, but probably not this board. His marginal holdings are checking behind. His monsters make no difference 'cause you're calling either way.

I'm not a fan of pf either, even 4-handed. That's a pretty marginal hand to play oop with a flop lover.
