Default Live Tourny

I was recently playing in a $300 buy in tourny maxed out at 200 participants. The tourny was down to the final 2 tables, i was the chipleader with approx. 3.5x more than the second large stack at my table. i was on the button blinds were 3000/6000 with a 250 antee. big blind was very tight non aggressive, two players limped, i'm holding AK, i had been playing a little lose but i only got aggressive with my raising when i had a hand and i'm pretty sure the table knew that. i raised it to 25000, one of the limpers pushed all in 32500 the other limper then folded. pot was at aprox. 63,500 it cost 7500 more for me to call, i did and his pocket 3's held. Did i make the right move considering my stack or should i have just called pre flop then pushed on an A or K flop?

played perfect imo even if he had his cards facing up.AK against smaal pp you always want to see 5 cards not just flop.if you win this hand you are cruisin into ft. if u call and wait for flop only time ur getting more money off loimpers is when they hit 2 pai/trips

is a serious question, i'm not sure if you should play $300 buy-in tourneys (if money doesn't matter fine - but you will spend a lot learning the basics). i hope you don't get me wrong, this is no offense, but raising AK here is really the only option imo.

You played this fine, pretty standard with AK. You have a premium drawing hand, best position, and dead money in the middle.

I would never limp this hand unless you were trapping. But that sometimes backfires when the flop is A64r and the the BB had 64o and saw the flop for free.

obv i thought the move was correct or i would have played it differently. i just wondered if i should have maybe pushed more so the call would have been all in instead of him being able to reraise. the main reason for the post is that it cost me about 20% of my stack. like i said i thought it was the right move it just stung a bit.
