Final Pot: $103.55 i dont really care about MP2 and UTG+2. Both fishes where i would instapush a hand like this, but what really scared me was the action of CO. with reads i would put him on - scs which made twopair - scs with maybe a pair but a fd - scs with nutstr8 (89s definitely in his range) - scs with gutshot to nutstr8 (78s) - ppair which made a set so what would you do ? easy push ? easy fold ? with a wider range stove said.. Re: NL100 - flopped bottom-str8 vs familyaction
I think CO's range is more narrow (lot of people shown interest in this pot it is unraised, I would think that my 65 maybe even 75 isn't good enough in this spot seeing MP2 potcommitted - and what would he be doing with 78s??? the 7 of spades is on the board). That said though it is an easy push, I mean you are ahead of everything besides the nut straight...

Re: NL100 - flopped bottom-str8 vs familyaction
I disagree, I think you lay it down. You're up against a better straight, and what's worse, you're also up against either a flush draw or a set or both, and at this level they're not good enough to get away from the set (and maybe not the flush draw either, lol) and so even if you do happen to have the best hand right now (in my opinion unlikely) they'll have many outs against you. You've committed $7 into this pot, it shouldn't be this difficult to get away from.

Re: NL100 - flopped bottom-str8 vs familyaction
put 88, As8s and As4s in his range.
take out 76o, 75o, 65s and 87s. |

Re: NL100 - flopped bottom-str8 vs familyaction
shove, and call. i almost always win here. only one hand trumps you (well, some stupid 84), and you're good here most of the time. especially since you said two fish, then two fish + nutty straight = winner
