Default Can you be strictly Brick & Mortar?

Hey, new to the forum. I've actually been ghosting, just reading some of the theory and a lot of dissections of certain hand scenarios.

But I have this strange feeling from what I read that people who play online have a MUCH easier time playing live games vs. the other way around. I can't stand grinding online cause it's rather solitary & the discipline required is pretty epic. I had a stint on Absolute and I grinded up to the $1-$2s only to lose it all. Live games it's easier to spot fish imo.

So my question ultimately is that can I stick to only casinos/home games? Or should I dabble with online again and use that as back-up. Driving to Foxwoods is tiring, and home games are sporadic out here in MA.

I'm by no means an expert on this, as I merely dabble in both online and live play by the standards on these forums.

It really depends on what your goals are. I primarily use online play for forms of poker I can't find in the B&Ms around me (specifically, STTs and to some extent 08). Perhaps you could give that a try? I went to school in Boston, and that drive to foxwoods was in fact killah....

If you hate playing online, don't play online. Leaves more for us
