Do you know how much training an employee costs? Much more than $100 even for a cashier position. Unless he regularly pays too much, the guy won't lose his job... I've had gas stolen when I worked in a gas station (here it's not pay before you gas), do you really think I had to pay to cover? WTF? Working as a cashier would be the most -EV and Variance-filled student job ever if you had to all the time. Maybe my employer was nice and I was lucky but I always thought that was standard.
