Default Dems remove timetable from war funding bill.

Oh how I despise the democratic leadership:

http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/blogs/po...-from-war.html

My personal ire-raising quotation:

"CNN reported Friday that Democratic leaders' demand for a timeline with a waiver was intended to show the significant anti-war portion of the party that they were trying until the last possible minutes to stand up to the White House."

TRYING??? YOU CONTROL THE [censored] CONGRESS. IF YOU WERE TRYING, YOU WOULD SIMPLY NOT PASS A BILL.

And, finally, for discussion purposes, I'd like to ask Iron, and any other dems who want to chime in, how they feel about their party supporting the war.

You vote for my pony, I vote for your pony.

It's the endless pendulum that will keep government growing until it suffocates the productive class and then everyone will be busto.

Bunch of [censored], whiny ass pieces of chicken [censored] [censored]. What the hell is wrong with those guys? The bill they passed is exactly what the american people wanted: support the troops, but bring them home. Rumor is they're at least going to tack on a minimum wage hike, but jesus christ.

There is a semi-logical explanation for this. If the standoff continued and the money for Iraq ran out, I think what happens is the troops stay in Iraq, its just that the military has to take money from other programs to pay for it. This could affect military readiness and operations around the globe. The Dems weren't willing to risk this, so they caved. Yipee.

HAHAHAHA BRILLIANT !!

"Hey guys lets pass a bill with loads of pork and ridiculous extra spending that does nothing to help the troops or the war or get them home sooner. Then lets tack on an anti-poor anti-business bill thats totally unrelated. BRILLIANT!"
