crai the river?

Not with these stacks. Any reasonable bet from villain on the river and he'll have a tough time folding with 70% of his stack in the pot.

I prefer betting the flop. You have a chance of taking the pot down now and can fold if your opponent plays back strongly. When you check your opponent is almost forced to bet so you don't find out where you are. Turn seems alright.

If you want to stop the opponent betting the river then make a blocking bet. Maybe $10-$15 but this depends on the opponent. Your bet is only getting called by a better hand. I prefer checking though and then decide what to do if my opponent bets.

I think you get looked up all day long by AA/QQ/JJ, as you're not going to play a King this weakly.

How would you play this if you did have a King and you're OOP to a pre-flop 3-bettor? You'd probably c/r the flop, right? So if you're not going to fold on the flop, then I like a flop c/r a lot better - to $40 or so. If he comes over the top, it's a clear fold, but you could easily have a King based on the pre-flop play, and I don't see QQ/JJ calling a flop c/r.

Ya I can't see AA/QQ/JJ folding. You might get a crying call from AQ once in a while, but I wouldn't bet the river normally.

If you were going to fire at the river, why not fire at the turn instead? You probably get QQ-JJ to fold, and possibly A-A on the turn, but less likely. I think the check-check-fire got called by JJ or QQ here.
