I will live exactly and completly as god tells me to from now on
I will be uttlerly devoted to his word and do everything thing he asks of me. On one condition, that he personally tells me exactly what he wants me to do. Not through a book, not through a priest, not through faith or any of that nonsense. I've sent up a prayer asking for guidence but haven't heard anything back yet. I'll let you know when he gets back to me and I can start making some big changes in my life although maybe he'll want me to keep on keeping on. I'm looking forward to it to be honest.

I realise he's probably busy but he's got the chance at a fully devoted believer here. I promise to do absolutly anything he asks and it'll only take 5 mins of his time. If he can't be bothered then forget it.

Can any christians who have directly experienced god let me know about how long I should have to wait before he gets back to me? What is the average lag time on a prayer?

[/ QUOTE ] I don't know about christians delusions, but in my case it has been many many decades, although in the early days I was very genuinely interested, mostly due to my background (education and family) and I am still waiting! Well, not really, not waiting anymore. Soon or later you have to move on. Give the dude a chance and if he fails, well, that's it, your life is short. You might as well make the best of it without guidance if it isn't available. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I have given up and am glad for having done so. It allowed my to explore many different alternatives and explore and come to a way of life that is a lot less barbaric and nowhere as hopeless as having to rely on the goodness of a manifestly evil god. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not Christian. But, I'm pretty sure God is presently busy burning down houses. Maybe he'll get back to you next week? Also, while you wait, aren't you supposed to be fasting, flagellating and chanting?
