I dont really see a problem calling here...I dont think you can re-pop it and folding isnt the worst thing ever but I think calling is the best here. Your line after that isnt horrible, I might look for a C/R on the flop also. Either way its a monster flop for you.

Preflop I call 100% against an unknown and probably against almost everybody since it's suited.

I suppose your intention was c/r so I like the check on the flop.

When everybody check the flop I like the bet on the turn.

nh.

I usually bet out that flop but going for c/r is ok too.
As played lead turn like you did.

Actually I was going to check/call on the flop. I don't see the point of a check raise here?

Also, after the hand I felt I had played the turn badly - maybe I should have checked and then check/call the river. How am I going to get paid by a worse hand?

turn brings a spade draw and straight possibilities, betting here is a must.

What straight draw could he have? Is he really raising preflop with 55? I don't think that a spade draw is that likely either given that the As is on board.

I always call w/ AQs unless I have some sort of dependable read against the villain. I would mix up leading out on that flop and c/r it. Would you guys c/r if the flop didn't have two hearts in it? Ie, does the flush draw carry any weight in your decision to c/r? I'm not sure I would c/r very often if it was a rainbow flop. I don't understand why you would ever want to c/c the turn and river. You have a strong hand and playing a holding like that so passively will only hurt you in the long run. You don't want someone to draw out on you w/ another flush, straight, etc. If they fold, they fold, and you win the pot. You simply don't have a strong enough holding to wait past the turn.
