I would think an Economics forum should be tested in the mods playground.

An economics forum sounds good as long as any forum tried out isn't only used as a way to banish ACists from the politics forum.

edit- hell, maybe someone could create a sponsored forum for the ACists, what's that run a month?

I like the idea. Suggested forum subtitles:

1. "No Penalties, No Substitutions" (extra points for identifying the movie reference)

or

2. "Gilligan's Island without Mary Ann's Coconut Cream Pie"

Guys, Ryan has weighed in on this subject before and it isn't particularly likely to happen. To be honest, I agree with him.

Perhaps I should rephrase the question:

Since many people seem to be complaining about "AC hijacks", I would like everyone to keep this in mind: If an ACist makes a post in a minimum wage thread, ask yourself "Is this argument the same argument a conservative might make?" In a drug legalization thread, ask yourself "Is this argument the same argument a liberal might make?" If the answer to these questions is yes, that post is not an AC hijack. I think if you follow this advice, you will find that most posts made by ACists are not hijacks.

Iron thank you, I'm glad a resident jackbooted thug has finally acknowledged that Talking about ending the war on drugs does not equate to fantastical ramblings about ending all forms of government.
