Default CB After 3-Betting PF?

I've been 3-betting villain a lot and he has fold every time. I think he's noticed. Villain is 34.1/20.3/3.38 over 607 hands

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $281.95
BB: $224.95
UTG: $223.15
MP: $416.25
Hero (CO): $201
BTN: $190.65

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $7, Hero raises to $24, 3 folds, MP calls $17

Flop: ($51) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP checks...

Do I need to CB this flop? I'd figure he'd be pushing AKo pf by now.

P.S. I know preflop ain't great, my question is about the flop.

Can't really ask for a better flop to CB. If you are checking this because you think your fold equity is very low, then I don't see why you would 3 bet preflop.

Villain raises pretty light and will fold to most 3bet it seems. When he called, it felt like he was going to take a stand.

These types of situations are highly influenced by your image, table dynamics, and history with Villain. We know very little about this and it is hard to advise.

All I'm saying is that this flop is a c-bet wet dream and a lot of our equity from 3 betting light comes from getting folds on the flop. If we are giving them up this seems like a bad 3 bet.

Agree 100% with Cassette. If you fell he's noticed your frequent 3 betting you can counter that by tightening up your 3 betting range.

Given that you did 3bet here with J7s, you need to follow up with a bet on thsi flop.

I ended up betting because I figured he would have to fold a lot of hand. He insta-CR AI, I fold. Betting is probably still right.
