Default probability question

What is the probability that the flop will give you the flush or the straight if you are holding suited conectors. I mean not just the straight or just the flush; but straight OR flush.
Information on this is greatly appreciated.

just add those two numbers, and subtract the small probability of hitting a straight flush (because it got counted twice).

by my count, out of 19600 flops, it's:

256 s + sf
165 f + sf
-4 sf
---
417 s + f + sf

or 2.128%

Not sure if your aware, but there's a whole section of this forum for this kind of stuff. It's creatively titled "probablity".
