Poker News Cup ME 3k Update
Sorry i don't have time for a full trip report tonight guys. They let us go about 1am, we lose an hour to daylight savings, and we have to be back at 12:30am. I played about a billion hands today which i wrote down.
Long story short. 440 Starters, 3k buy in, 110ish left, i am 2nd or 3rd in chips with 174k (start bank 20k.) Field is atrocious. Interesting events of the day included 5 bet shoving TT pre for like 80 some BB's for value, busting one of Australia's biggest nits 20 minutes in, and running into a man who in detail described the ball bearings he had inserted into his penis. Should make for a good report. You can follow the action at pokernews. |

Re: Poker News Cup ME 3k Update
love the bond
On a flop of J-J-2, Leo Boxell bet 1,000 and Tony Dunst moved all in. "A three-day event and you're all in during the first hour?" asked Boxell before making the call. Boxell turned up K-J for trips, but Dunst had flopped a boat with 2-2. The turn was a seven, the river an eight, and Boxell was eliminated. |
