Your flop lead certainly looks like you are folding to a raise. I don't like it.

If villain's 26% PFR includes 3 betting light a lot, I 4 bet this most of the time. As played, I don't mind a check-call because it looks strong and thus freezes our opponent most of the time.

This is much easier if you 4 bet though.

I occasionally call this down.

I dont see how c/r > c/c ?? Its not like he has a ton of outs on this flop.

jesus christ this is the 4th SSNL thread I've read today where someone flops an overcard to their pocket pair with decent sized stacks and a bunch of people are like OMG CALL OFF THE REST OF YOUR STACK!

maybe I just suck at poker or something but I'm kind of confused at this new trend

I'm surprised by this too, it's not like the guy is 60/40 or something obscene. I think you need a read to get it in here, and the fact that the guy is 32/28 or whatever isn't enough.

Btw, the lead out is horrible unless you are trying to induce this kind of raise. How often is an aggressive player going to just give up after you lead into him like this in a reraised pot?

I don't mind a c/c and then re-evaluating turn, but c/r definitely requires some knowledge about how light this guy will stack off.

wow what is going on in here.

I think the lead is pointless to begin with. And I certainly don't think CRAI is good here at all. Why would we want to do that? People in this thread who support a CRAI seem to only want to do so because they are scared to play poker on the turn/river. There is nothing to be scared of though - if images are right, and your read is that he can actually barrel you on the turn as a bluff with alot of his missed range, then you can consider c/c, c/c AI.

1) reload preflop

2) check the flop and call his bet

3) re-evaluate on the turn.
