For those saying don't raise, what do I do on a non J no diamond turn and he leads for 600? Am I putting in a raise now, what if he checks? Bet/Fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd call the turn to. And if he bet 3/4 pot on river I'd just fold.

ajaxx, yes.

tuckercat, that's pretty much the worst read in this thread. are you serious?

[/ QUOTE ]

no its not, whats the difference between him leading with JJ or a4 here? if im raising the flop, then im probably going with my hand. id just call the flop with him leading into the whole field though. as played, i think i fold.

[/ QUOTE ]
agree,

I almost always call here, unless I can felt the hand confidently or get 3 streets of value including your raise.

He knows exactly what you have and we have to guess his holding, you never know man? The 20k on 10/20 is for a reason. So lesson learned, big stack, young whiz kid they are very capable to put you on a tough decision to make mistakes. I would be very careful with opponent like that meaning checking a lots on the flop because your risk/reward is lower when the pot is small and your decision is much easier too. Any thoughts?

I've played with him a few times and yes he is very good. I think one of his better skills is reading whether people are weak or strong, which is what makes him so strong post flop. If it's HU post flop and he feels you are weak at all he will float everytime and take it away. But in the particular hand you describe I would fold everytime.

I know this guy too, I only saw him push with premium hands like sets post flop. Guy's an a**hole was giving me sh*t continually in a really purile, adolescent kind of way. One of the most odious people I have ever played against. I got moved to the top table table fortunately and he never followed. I'm not given to violence against people but I really wanted to put my hands round his throat.
