a new razz pupil
so ive decided its razz im going to focus on 100%. being new to any kind of stud game i was wondering what math about the game is important. id like to commit to memory as much about the game as i can. so what probabilites odds and the like should i know. ive looked at the mike caro odds section in the back of SS as well as the last section of the potlimit no limit book by ciafone/reuben and their odds tables are very different i dont see how they can be coming up with these different numbers. thanks

Hopefully you'll find razz challenging, enjoyable, and profitable. If you have SS1 there is a brief but good section on razz to get the ball rolling, but I'd wager there are better sources to learn about razz than from Caro or Ciaffone. |

Re: a new razz pupil
Sklansky on Poker contains Sklansky on Razz, the classic text. It can be found used online in lots of places for $15 or so, and it is worth the money.
