Default Standar color for 25 cent chip?

Is there one? I thought it was brown, but I see a lot of other colors out there being used.

East and West Coast are different- probably different elsewhere.

Go with what you like, or what's common to card rooms/casinos in your area

Most cardrooms/casinos don't have .25 chips, for a couple of reasons. First, they don't spread games that low, as the rake wouldn't be nearly high enough to justify it. Second, because of the cost of the chips (upwards of .50 each, even if bought in huge bulk), they don't want to "sell" them for less than what the chip is actually worth... if they did that it would be cheaper for people to go "buy" a cash set of chips from the cage than it would be to order them from a website.

Anyway, since there's not too many micro-chips at casinos, there really isn't a standard color.

I have noticed though, that since there's such an argument all the time about white/blue for the $1 chips, often the opposite is used for .25 chips in home sets (see Chiptalk). Pink and brown can also be common, along with other standard colors for high-denom chips that don't show up in home sets, like grey.

There is no standard color. If you use white for your $1 chip, I would recommend turquoise for 25c chips. If you use blue for $1 chips, I would recommend white or grey. As some others have mentioned, pink is also a popular choice.

In LA, peach/orange is standard for 50cent chips. These chips are useually very run down. I have never seen a 25 cent chip in LA. In Vegas,25 cent chips are silver with a picture of George Washington on it. All casinos use the same design and they are available are your local bank. Fifty different designs on the back.
