Re: NL100, Party: 99 flops overpair after i call preflop in blinds
I don't like a cr here. If he pushes then you have to fold and if he calls your in a meh spot where a lot of cards can look scary.
I prefer a c/c and see the turn, this way pot is not as inflated. |

[ QUOTE ] Whatever his cbetsize is here, what pot odds should we offer him? 2,33:1 like a 0,75p bet would done? [/ QUOTE ] Raise less than pot, but more than 3x his bet. [/ QUOTE ] How do you calculate the size of the pot? |

Re: NL100, Party: 99 flops overpair after i call preflop in blinds
I think checkraise is wrong here after reading this:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...rt=all&vc=1 (Really good discussion about potcontrol OOP and checkraising OOP with TPTK) What if he 3bets me? Then you say I should fold. In that case my 99 is like a 72o. What if he calls? Then I have to "pot-control" (passive line) it down to river, which could be very dangerous to my hand and probably -EV (?) According to the article above, I should be committed to value-checkraise here. If I'm committed then I'm willing to call an all-in. Since you say we arent committed with this hand, its wrong to c/r with this hand. Do you still think a c/r is right? |
