Re: Learning Limit: QQ flops FD, line ok?
its 8% after the river if he plays JJ with the diamond 1 out of 3 QQ+ AK.
If you are saying its only AK KK+ with one JJ combo (out of 3) that is 6.5% Now he doesn't bluff the river 1.5% of the time with a missed draw? |

[/ QUOTE ] it's not AK KK+ with one JJ combo it's for the 3rd time AA (3 hands) KK (3 hands) AK (9 hands) 99 (3 hands) AdQx (2 hands) AdJx ... less .5 hands in weight J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Jx ... probably about the same value that this guy 3bet AJo (but you can call it 1 full hand OK) QQ [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ... is way less likely than AdJx I barely see a turn call ... making up less then likely hand ranges to justify lose calls is probably not a good idea. if OP called and this was JdJx ... well - it was unlikely and was about 20:1 getting 13:1 (you lose!) EDIT one last thing you cold cap OOP ... villain auto thinks ... QQ+, AK, with some chance of JJ (but not too likely) after you 'just call' the turn you aren't getting much action out of villain unless he has you beat you hand is obvious |

haven't done any math. river is a fold. whatever you have to do to discount worse hands to make the river a fold, that's what you have to do.

Re: Learning Limit: QQ flops FD, line ok?
lol at calling the river.
are you calling with 22 here b/c "1.5% of the time" he's bluffing a missed draw? using your logic it would be wrong to ever fold a pair on the river in a big pot. |
