Tell me where I can improve for the next draft, where I am also picking 2nd.

Don't bother "locking up" an elite defense. Esp if you're going to do the rb-wr-wr thing. If I'd done that, and from who you say was left it sounds reasonable, I'd have been looking to draft a bunch of backs in the 4-5-6th rounds, if possible. Low-end starters like Lamont, C Taylor or A Pete etc.

I think its a solid draft, but nothing spectacular. Got good value for Portis in the 4th and Caddy in the 6th, even though we really didn't want much to do with them. After Roy Williams have a lot of questionable WRs, but I figure one will pan out and RB depth might enable a trade down the line. Not sure about the Bulger pick.

[/ QUOTE ]I think it's good, probably would have grabbed reciever over Portis or Cadillac depending on board and grabbed a 4th RB later. Bush would be pretty sick in PPR. Edge also has more value than standard.

Sadly, Portis was a no-brainer. There just wasn't a valuable guy there when we picked. We could have grabbed Santana Moss when we took Cadillac but locking up the Washington O wasn't something we felt necessary. I think maybe we should have done that instead though.

Player, Position, Team (Draft Position)

S Jackson, RB, STL (2) I like Gore but this is fine obv.
M Harrison, WR, IND (23) Standard.
C Johnson, WR, CIN (26) Standard. Maybe. What RB/QB available?
M Barber, RB, DAL (47) Seems fine.
D Williams, RB, CAR (50) Not good, Norwood or Betts? I think Foster is still starting.
Chicago, DEF (71) No. Grab Packers or w/e in next to last round.
T Gonzalez, TE, KC (74) Fine.
D Stallworth, WR, NE (95) Good.
B Berrian, WR, CHI (98) Good.
B Roethlisberger, QB, PIT (119) Eh, this is your starter? Vince Young or Eli Manning available?
L Washington, RB, NYJ (122) Meh.
A Peterson, RB, CHI (143) Not sure.
B Favre, QB, GB (146) Good.
D Jarrett, WR, CAR (167) Worthless.
M Stover, K, BAL (170) Kicker.
G Olsen, TE, CHI (191) Fine.

Strategy questions:

My QB situation isn't ideal, but I waited until the very end. Several teams already had a backup QB by the time I picked my first. In a 6 pt/passing TD league, do I need to draft a QB earlier? If Palmer was available on the turn where you took Harrison/Johnson I'd take him. Fantasy nuts underestimate value of QB and tend to make retarded 2nd rb picks. You want to score lots of points, not be consistent and finish 5th.

Thanks for the feedback!

I can't decide if I like my team or hate it.

1. (1) LaDainian Tomlinson
2. (20) Clinton Portis
3. (21) Cedric Benson
4. (40) Donovan McNabb
5. (41) Anquan Boldin
6. (60) Laveranues Coles
7. (61) Jerious Norwood
8. (80) Michael Turner
9. (81) Fred Taylor
10. (100) Anthony Gonzalez
11. (101) Heath Miller
12. (120) Pittsburgh
13. (121) Neil Rackers

Don't really like my 2/3, but I have enough RB depth to cover it up. Bye weeks are meh, 6 and 8 a bit heavy. Hopefully get a sleeper WR off the wire. QB RB RB WR WR RB/WR TE K DEF, standard scoring.

I like your team a lot. Try to trade Norwood for WR or swing a deal for Betts to cover Portis.

12 Team League. QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, D/ST.

PPR, All TDs 6 points. 3 point bonus for 300/400 passing, 100/150 rushing and receiving.

1. Reggie Bush RB (12)
2. Travis Henry RB (13)
3. Roy Williams WR (36)
4. Anquan Boldin WR (37)
5. Adrian Peterson RB (60)
6. Tatum Bell RB (61)
7. Brandon Jackson RB (84)
8. Jon Kitna QB (85)
9. Devery Henderson WR (108)
10. Santonio Holmes WR (109)
11. Michael Turner RB (132)
12. Heath Miller TE (133)
13. Ben Roethlisberger QB (156)
14. Brandon Marshall WR (157)
15. Dallas Defense (180)
16. Olindo Mare K (181)

There was a huge run on QBs early so I just kept picking RBs. I figured I was pretty solid at WR with Williams and Boldin and knew I could get guys like Holmes later. I could have sprang for a TE instead of an RB but after Gates the position is so deep and similar that I had no problem getting a guy like Miller or Ben Watson late. Comments appreciated.
