Chargers I changed my post but he DOES NOT have 666 and what sense does over shoving a bet make with a flush or a set of Q's? I just think a tight weak poplayer like this is gonna call a bet with QQQ and and slow play a flush or make a smallish raise. He is definetly not gonna try to scare you off here with the nut flush

why are we anticipating a turn shove?

[/ QUOTE ] We're not, we're preparing for if that happens.

[/ QUOTE ] ldo? i realized this after posting but didn't feel like editing it out.

[/ QUOTE ] not saying he won't call here w/QQ but that's pretty bad considering the river will scare him and likely shut out any action.

Thanks for taking out that bash against me .

To answer the op's question I would bet around pot here. Folding isn't absolutely horrible to a big raise but I think it is important to get the point across to op that he needs to be raising more on the flop to keep from getting in this spot. It is better to prevent hard situations than to get in them and say well what should I do now. I think most of the time you are the ahead here op and folding is based on what you think when he shoves or raises.

We aren't flaming at least I am not. Moral of the story
1. Raise more on flop!
2. Bet around pot on turn
3. re evaluate if he raises

Jack, I can see why you'd say "dont minraise"* but why not? Money will get in by or on the river so it doesn't seem that bad in this spot.

*cuz it's like a 2p2 thing not to ldo.

Well for one by mini raising here if he has a str8 or flush draw which both could be possible on this board (unlikely he has a str8 draw with his stats) You are giving him great odds to call and hit. Second it makes it easier to get it all in and you want to get as much money in now before the scare card hits you have to remember it also a scare card for him as well if he has what we think he does AA-KK or A-Q you are more likey to get paid now then when the flush card hits.
