Default Vegas Roll - stupid question, but anyway...

I'm spending tomorrow afternoon through Saturday afternoon in Vegas. Set up with a friend at the Venetian. I am taking a roll of $800 for poker. I normally play 2-5NL, but I'm thinking I might just want to play 1-2NL with a few rebuys. I'm a winning poker player, but I'm due for some variance. Should I roll the dice at 2-5? I thought about buying in short. That way I'd be playing the usual stakes for me. I am not going to take more than 8 hundo for poker, regardless. What would you do?

Remember to save some money for tipping the waitresses for drinks.
At $1 per drink, that leaves $600 for poker, so...

Play 1-2 and have Fun.

play the MGM $200 max 1/2 Game.
Turn your 8 hundy into 16 hundy.
Sit at 2/5 $500max freerolling a portion of your winnings.
End up playing Farha HU by end of weekend.

No, no, no.

These 200 drinks are not for you- barbie. You know the Vegas rules concerning a new guy in town right???

You have to buy drinks for all your table mates for the entire time, and the occasional massage time.

Sheesh such a newbie. Must we have to explain ALL the rules?

While your point is taken, I'm hardly a newbie. More of a degen. I'm spending 3 weekends in August scratching the felt in Vegas. Of course, my company is paying for the flight...which is nice.
