Your low draw is counterfeitable by 45xx when it comes A2 on turn and river.

A4 on turn and river will counterfeit his low as well.
edit: And 24 also! |

A4 on turn and river will counterfeit his low as well. edit: And 24 also! [/ QUOTE ] Due to 63 on flop I am willing to risk the double counterfeit as my live card will probably be good enough - the only bad rnr rnr would be 24 as A5xx hands could take low away, otherwise i think my "live card" will be good if it was 83 on flop then yes, the double counterfeit would kill me but double counterfeit on 6 high is pretty safe (or safe enough for me) |

Re: 1/2 PLO8 - Party - What do you do?
I think this is a raise on the flop. Especially given your read of UTG+1.
I think this is probably a call when it gets back to you too. Im worried about sets and overpairs and theres a great chance that youre quartered (possibly sixthed). On the other hand, from the way you describe them, theres a chance TPTK is good right now. Very high variance call, but I dont mind those at all. So I say call (I dont see the point in pushing, since UTG+1 has everyone but you covered, unless youre thinking that it will help scare them out of the pot) |

Re: 1/2 PLO8 - Party - What do you do?
I personally am leaning toward a fold. What exactly do you think these people are betting and calling with? Too much of a chance you are up against at least one set and your low draw is no good.

Re: 1/2 PLO8 - Party - What do you do?
Someone with A2 (reasonable) steals a lot of your equity. Someone with 45 (also the type of hand that a lag would push here) hurts you as well. It's very rare that you will have more than 30% here against good opponents and you can safely fold. Against these 2 it's not that easy. If they are that bad then I let it go and wait for a better opportunity to be way ahead.
You are almost never far enough up on here IMO. |

Re: 1/2 PLO8 - Party - What do you do?
I call, especially based on the opponents who have raised and their stack sizes. Chances seem real good that you will get at least half of the last $117 you are putting in heads up against super-donk UTG +1. I think that part of the bet is +EV. The remainder of the bet you are only paying $149 for a pot that will be $553 after you call, so by math you need 27% Equity to make the call for the portion of the bet from SB (assuming you are the only other caller). I like those odds, especially since you still have draws to a hands that could scoop trips.
Easy call! |

Re: 1/2 PLO8 - Party - What do you do?
The problem for me is the other players...I think that A2 is begging to be quartered. The people going to town may be bad drivers, buts there's a lot more people on the road.
