Default Lots of Shana photos and more

This is NBC's website featuring their new show Poker After Dark.

http://www.nbcsports.com/poker/index.html

Worth checking out. Lots of cool photos of Shana, a couple of video introductions, an interesting in-depth column about the show, and the actual table match-ups. Just try picking the winner of each week...maybe someone can run a poll prior to each week to see who everyone thinks will win.

Quite a let-down after the Shanna Playboy thread. You're not gonna hit a 1,000,000+ views without some [censored]!

- Seeing most of the hands will be an advantage over many televised poker shows.
- The structure (stack depth, blinds) will be better than some televised shows.
- But it's an invitational, shorthanded, winner-take-all single-table tournament. Very made-for-TV, not a format many people play.
- Having half the $T in chips and half in cash seems silly. It's not a cash game (though I wish it were), so don't pretend.
- Commentary on poker shows can be a good thing or a bad thing. A lot of the time producers choose to drown out the table talk, and I'd prefer less commentary (HSP is an example). Other shows have combined table talk, analysis, and play-by-play very well (I think Celebrity Poker Showdown [Gordon era] did this better than any show has ever done). So sometimes I've wondered if less commentary (or no commentary in this case) would be good. This will be an interesting experiment.
