Default How to gain weight and muscle?

Hey

Im a really tall guy and i've always been skinny. Im probably around 80kgs and 6'6 which I guess is probably underweight. I eat fairly well my diet consisting of a lot of bread, meat, vegetables and fruit.

Currently im too busy with studies to play sport so im looking for a workout I could do in my room when I get a spare hour or so.

My goal is to put on my weight and gain muscle mass so as to be healthier and look better.

Thank you for any replys.

Load up on protein and hit the weights hard. (Just don't get injured) Heavy weight & low reps to build muscle. The 2 exercises that you want to focus on is Bench Press and Squats. They build the largest muscle groups on your body.

Obv...you need to have a good answer when everyone asks, "how much you bench?"

Most importantly, even if you can't take an hour, you can always find five minutes here or there. Do some push-ups every hour or so. Put a pull-up bar in your doorway or garage and run out and bang out even a set or two a night, or just do negatives if that's all you can do for now. Stinky at the end of the day and headed into the shower? Might as well take time out to do a couple of two-minute rounds of rope jumping first. Rest a minute in between. You can't spare five minutes? Bullsh*t. Got no jump rope? Just do regular hops as quick as you can, or frog hops around the room or up a flight of stairs.

Even if you can't do everything or the perfect thing, just be sure to do something. If you're really honest with yourself, with a little bit of willpower you can sneak in plenty of exercises throughout the week, even if you have no equipment at all.
