Default ATs in hijack

$1K live MTT. Orginal stacks 5K, blinds 100/200. 4th position raises to 725, 5th position flat calls. 4th position is table leader, new to table, but has been raising since he got there, always to 725, and has lots of small chips. I am in hijack with T8K and ATs. Fold, call, reraise, or push?

well you have like 5 cards including AK and a pair, you can't be in too bad shape.

Seriously though, when you say original stacks, do you mean effective stacks or what you started the day with? If the latter how much do you/villains have now.

I'm not crazy about the squeeze play but 4th pos.'s image seems tailor made for it, plus it was much more effective a few years ago than it is now and that's about how far behind live poker is, right?

Has he been played back at yet? If so how did he react? Really need stacks to decide what to do here.

I don't like squeezing here with this hand call and outplay these kids you can float a lot of boards vs them.

Started the day with 5K. Average is 11K. Raiser has 27K. Caller has 7K. Most players to act have me covered.

I didn't know whether to squeeze, call, or fold. I actually pushed. BB called with QQ and I busted.

I figured my expected loss was about 2K against villain's hand with the overlay. ATs is 32% against 99+,AQ+, which seems like a reasonable calling range. Sometimes I don't have as big an overlay. The expected loss if called is probably about 2200 on average. If I resteal, I pick up 1750. One of the players left to act has JJ+, AK about 12% of the time. I don't think the push is getting called more than 1/3 of the time, so I think it is cEV+, but a big gamble.

It is hard to evaluate flat calling. I like calling better against weak players. I wasn't that crazy about playing the aggressive big stack.

You still in? BB was Asian guy who seemed to play pretty well. Somewhat loose raiser, but not maniac.
